Fall/Winter 2016 Updates
Brothers Emilio Salinas and Rishi Nanda were regularly initiated as Entered Apprentice Masons in the last several months, making them the newest members of our Lodge! Congratulations you two!
Brother Ed Caughi, Past Master of Woodland Lodge #81, recieved the Hiram Award on November 10, 2016. The Hiram Award is one of the most honorary awards a Mason can achieve in his community.
As the California Grand Lodge describes it:
The “Hiram Award Program” is the official recognition of a Brother by his own Lodge for his devoted service to that Lodge and to Masonic principles in general. It is intended for the Brother who, year after year, displays his devotion without receiving special recognition or special honor. Every Lodge has many such members. They are the living cement that binds our Fraternity into a true Brotherhood. You will find them at labor in kitchens, the coaching rooms, the committees, their churches and communities – anywhere that a true and steady hand of assistance is needed.
Congratulations!

Volunteer to help at the Child ID Booth!
Woodland Lodge #81 is helping our community this year at the Yolo County Fair by hosting a Child Identification Booth, where parents can receive printouts of ID sheets of their children in case they go missing or in times of emergency. At the Child ID Booth, masons take a photo of each child, scan their thumb prints and print them out on a sheet of paper that has room for ID statistics that the parent can then fill out later. Please assist our Lodge in helping the Yolo County community once more by volunteering your time at our Child ID Booth!
